James "Jimmy" Repasi
Founder & Lead Technician at Repasi Motorwerks
America's Most Experienced Carrera GT Technician
I've dedicated my career exclusively to Porsche GT platforms since 2012, with a particular focus on the Carrera GT for over a decade. What started as a passion for Porsche's engineering excellence evolved into Repasi Motorwerks, where I now lead a team of Gold Meister certified technicians.
Our shop has serviced more Carrera GTs than nearly any independent facility in North America. Clients ship their cars from across the United States and internationally because of our specialized expertise with these rare machines.
I've performed hundreds of Carrera GT clutch replacements, camshaft services, engine-out inspections, and pre-purchase evaluations. This hands-on experience informs every article I write for our blog—the information comes directly from what I've observed, diagnosed, and repaired in our Stratford, Connecticut facility.
