Signs Your Clutch Needs Service
Clutch Slip
Engine RPMs rise without corresponding acceleration. Often noticed under heavy load or uphill.
Clutch Chatter
Vibration or juddering when engaging the clutch. Can indicate worn disc or contamination.
Hard Pedal
Clutch pedal feels stiff or difficult to press. May indicate hydraulic issues or cable problems.
Soft Pedal
Clutch engages very close to the floor or feels spongy. Often air in hydraulic system.
Gear Grinding
Difficulty engaging gears or grinding when shifting. Could be clutch or synchro related.
PDK Shudder
Vibration or hesitation during PDK shifts. May indicate clutch pack wear or software issues.
Clutch Upgrades for Track Use
Track driving accelerates clutch wear significantly. We offer upgraded clutch options for GT3, GT4, and other track-focused Porsches:
- Single-mass flywheel conversion — Faster throttle response and reduced rotational mass
- High-performance clutch discs — Better heat resistance for repeated track sessions
- Upgraded pressure plates — Higher clamp force for increased power
