In March 2026, a Porsche Carrera GT unlike any other made its public debut at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Finished in Liquid Metal Green — a color Porsche never offered — with bespoke cream leather, custom carbon fiber bodywork, and mechanical enhancements born from over 18 years of dedicated Carrera GT expertise, the Canepa Carrera GT SC #01 represents the most ambitious enhancement of this platform ever attempted.
Repasi Motorwerks is the exclusive mechanical and technical partner for the program. Every SC chassis passes through our Stratford, Connecticut facility for comprehensive mechanical transformation before returning to Canepa in Scotts Valley, California for bodywork, paint, and interior finishing.
The Carrera GT SC process begins at Canepa's facility with a complete disassembly — every exterior panel, every interior trim piece removed so Bruce's design team can execute their vision. The bare chassis then ships cross-country to Repasi Motorwerks, where our team performs the full mechanical scope: drivetrain refinement of the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V10, clutch performance improvements drawing on more CGT clutch replacements than any other independent facility, suspension calibration including corner balancing and damper tuning, and braking system enhancements for improved pedal feel and thermal management.
SC #01's specifications include a KW suspension setup with integrated hydraulic front-axle lift, a new stainless steel exhaust system, gloss black headlight bezels, custom exposed carbon fiber roll hoop, body-colored air intakes, original five-spoke magnesium wheels with anodized black center locks, and a full bespoke cream leather and Alcantara interior retaining the iconic beechwood gear shifter.
Once our mechanical work is complete, the chassis returns to Canepa to be mated with its carbon fiber bodywork and bespoke leather interior, along with concours-quality paintwork. The collaboration post between @canepacollectorcars and @repasimotorwerks on Instagram generated nearly 900 likes. A second Carrera GT SC build is already underway — as Canepa put it: "Batter up."
