Factory Carrera GT rotors cost well into six figures to replace through Porsche channels. Working with Surface Transforms, the UK’s only carbon‑ceramic brake manufacturer, we developed a direct‑fit upgrade that outperforms the original equipment while dramatically reducing long‑term ownership cost.

Surface Transforms uses a continuous 3D carbon fiber matrix to create Carbon Fiber Reinforced Ceramic (CFRC) discs. Compared with the chopped‑fiber carbon ceramics fitted from the factory, these rotors offer roughly three times the heat conductivity, keeping brake temperatures under control and performance consistent.

Lower wear and oxidation rates extend service life, while reduced pad and disc wear further decrease running costs. When the time eventually comes, the discs can be refurbished rather than scrapped entirely.

Many owners choose to install this kit proactively and store their original rotors. That preserves the condition and value of the OEM set forever while enjoying better performance on the road and track.
