What is Gold Meister?
Gold Meister is Porsche's highest technician certification. It represents years of training, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing education requirements. Not all Porsche technicians are Gold Meister certified—in fact, many Porsche dealers have only one or two Gold Meister technicians on staff.
The “Meister” designation comes from the German tradition of master craftsmen. A Gold Meister technician has proven mastery of Porsche engineering, diagnostics, and repair procedures.

Very rare—many dealers have only 1-2 Gold Meister techs
Gold Certified

Silver Certified
Entry-level Porsche certification

- Introductory Porsche training

These certifications sound similar but represent very different expertise levels:

Important: When a shop advertises “Gold Certified,” they are NOT claiming Gold Meister status. Gold Certified is the lower tier. Ask specifically: “Do you have Gold Meister certified technicians?”
